Who We Are:

Lideres del Futuro Avanzando is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that focuses on improving the lives of Latinx immigrant/refugee families by providing culturally appropriate services.

Lideres del Futuro Avanzando Foundation’s vision is to share in the successes of Latinx immigrants living in northern California.

Programs and services include but are not limited to:

Services

• Support students with college applications, scholarships and financial aid.

• Assist DACA recipients with renewal and Advance Parole paperwork.

• Offer trainings to Latinx immigrant families to develop financial literacy.

• Offer trainings on making college a reality for Latinx immigrant families.

Programs

• Luis Vazquez Summer programs for middle and high school Latinx students.

• Scholarship program for Latinx high school seniors and those in college.

• Padrino/Madrina mentoring program for Latinx high school seniors and those in college.

• Book program for incarcerated Latinx youth and other immigrants.

• Free immigration consultation program for undocumented Latinx families.

• Parent Empowerment Series: provides educational trainings on at least ten topics of relevance to Latinx immigrant families.

• Sanacion y Cultura – Taking DACA recipients to Mexico to receive trainings on their ancestral cultures (from all over latin America) and therapeutic support.

• Mental health education for youth and their families.

• Dra. Maria Hess mentoring program for Latinx psychology majors – focuses on supporting high school and college students to reach their goals.
